Thakur Chawla, born on 18 February 1931 in Karachi, Sind [Pakistan], is a businessman based in Mumbai who has been actively involved in promoting Sindhi literature and culture. He serves as Managing Trustee of the Writers & Artists Welfare Foundation, is a member of the Maharashtra State Sindhi Sahitya Academy, and a Trustee of the Prof. Ram Panjwani Cultural Centre, Mumbai.
