Mulchand Mangharam Bindrani
Mulchand Mangharam Bindrani, popularly known by his literary name M. Kamal, was born on 8 August 1925 in Kandiaro, District Nawabshah, Sind [Pakistan]. An Inter Science graduate, he later settled in Ulhasnagar and retired from service with the Central Railway.
A multifaceted literary personality, M. Kamal is a noted Sindhi Ghazal poet who consistently portrayed the realities of life while giving a fresh dimension to poetic expression. He authored nearly 650 ghazals, specialized in one-act plays, and wrote as well as directed several stage productions, many of which won Best Play awards at college competitions. He is also respected as a thoughtful literary critic.
