Morwani Dholan
Morwani Dholan, popularly known by the pen name ‘Rahi’, was born on 16 July 1949 in Ajmer, Rajasthan. He holds an M.A. in Sindhi and a B.Ed., and works as a teacher of Sindhi. He resides in Ajmer, where he continues his literary and cultural activities.
Primarily a lyrical poet, Dholan Rahi is also a talented singer who performs his own poems. In addition, he is a recognized translator, having translated Bankimchandra Chatterji’s monograph from English into Sindhi and Narayan Shyam’s “Roop Maya” from Sindhi into Hindi. He has also shown keen interest in the dramatic arts, making meaningful contributions in that field as well.
