Mohan Gehani
Mohan Gehani was born on 20 January 1938 in Karachi, Sind [Pakistan], and later pursued an M.A. He has been actively associated with the Sindhi literary movement since 1954, holding key roles in several literary and cultural organizations. Professionally, he served as an Administrative Officer at the Indian High School in Dubai, where he also played an important role in organizing Sindhi cultural and literary functions.
An intellectual of high calibre, Mohan Gehani began his literary journey with critical essays on social, cultural, and aesthetic themes, and later developed a deep interest in the history of Sindh. A committed advocate of Sindhyat, he has worked tirelessly for the preservation of Sindhi language, literature, and culture from his student days through his long association with the Sindhi community in Dubai.
