Dr. Jetho Madhavdas Lalwani [born 8 March 1945, Kandyaro, Sind] holds an M.A. and Ph.D. and has served as Director of the National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language [NCPSL], Government of India. He has also held key roles such as Secretary of the Gujarat and Delhi Sindhi Academies.
A prominent post-Partition Sindhi writer, he is known for his short stories, plays, critical essays, and research on folk literature. An approved AIR artist and regular columnist, he has remained actively involved for over three decades in the promotion of Sindhi language and literature.
