Padmashri Hundraj Lilaram Manik, popularly known as Kavi ‘Dukhayal’, was born on 16 January 1910 in Larkana, Sind [Pakistan]. Educated up to VII Std., he is an eminent Sarvodaya social worker and resides in Adipur, Kutch. A true Gandhian, he was a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi and played an active role in India’s freedom struggle.
