Hari Gurdinomal Daryani, known by his pen name ‘Hari Dilgir’, was born on 15 June 1916 in Larkana, Sind (Pakistan). A B.Sc. and B.E. (Civil) graduate, he retired as Principal of Tolani Polytechnic College, Adipur, Kutch, Gujarat, where he also resides.
Hari Dilgir is an eminent and accomplished poet, renowned for his mastery of poetic technique and prosody, influenced by NawazAli Jaffery ‘Niyaz’ and the lyrical beauty of Kavi Kishinchand ‘Bewas’. He is an eminent and accomplished poet. He is the master of poetic technique and prosody, which he picked up from NawazAli Jaffery ‘Niyaz’.
