Chatru Nihchaldas Nagpal
Chatru Nihchaldas Nagpal, born on 12 February 1932 in Shikarpur, Sind (Pakistan), is a distinguished writer with a B.A. degree and the honor of Rashtrabhasha Ratna. He resides in Bangalore and is primarily known as a short story writer with a strong inclination towards humour and satire.
Most of his literary works reflect satirical humour, even in their evocative titles such as “Youth is Only for Four Days” and “The Jam Made of Thorns.” He has authored at least half a dozen works, including the long narrative poem “Dilbar Put Muhinjo,” a deeply moving and tragic account written after the mysterious suicide of his beloved son.
His writings have earned him several literary awards, notably from NCPSL, and some of his short stories have also been translated into Hindi.

At least half a dozen titles are to his credit, out of which one Dilbar Put Muhinjo is a long narrative poem, at the death of his beloved son, who committed suicide under mysterious circumstances. It is a heart rendering and tragically chilling narration.
