Bhagwan Atlani

Bhagwan Atlani, born on 10 March 1945 in Larkana, Sind (Pakistan), is a noted Sindhi writer whose primary creative expression is in Hindi literature. A B.Sc. graduate, he retired as a Manager from the State Bank of India, Jaipur, and currently resides in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Though Sindhi by origin, he generally writes in Hindi, which is later translated into Sindhi.

His literary interests include short stories, plays, and radio plays. His award-winning novel “Pahinji Pahinji Runj” was originally written in Hindi and later translated into Sindhi. Bhagwan Atlani has received 22 literary awards from various organizations, notably the Rajasthan Sindhi Academy, Government of Haryana, and Sindhu Samaj, and has also served in a prominent role as Chairman of the Rajasthan Sindhi Academy.
