Dr. Arjan Detaram Nathani

Born on 5 November 1919 in Sadhuja, District Nawabshah, Arjan Sikayal was a qualified Ayurvedic physician [R.M.P.] who balanced his medical practice with a deep passion for literature. Trained in Ayurveda, he later settled in Mumbai, residing in Andheri [West], where he continued both his professional and creative pursuits.

A prolific writer, Arjan Sikayal authored 25 books across multiple genres, including poetry, novels, biographies, and reminiscences. Among his notable works are Anarkali [1954], Hik Purush Tre Istriyun [1963], the biography Lenin [1968], Amar Shahid Indira Gandhi [1985], and Ghufaun-Ji-Yaatra [1989]. Through his diverse writings, he made a meaningful contribution to Sindhi literature, reflecting both literary depth and social awareness.
